Do I have to pay to use Marje?
No. Free is real — local vault, MCP server, every connector, every free module, forever. Pro is for people running multiple businesses or who want the hosted MCP bridge so they never touch a config file. Team is for organizations that need governance.
Do I need a Claude subscription?
No. Marje is a vault on its own. If you want the AI layer, bring your own Claude — we never proxy a token. OpenAI and local Ollama work too.
What is the Marje-hosted MCP bridge?
A Cloudflare Worker we run that lets ChatGPT, Claude.ai, and other web AI tools reach your local vault without any local config. On Free you set up MCP yourself in a config file. On Pro the bridge does it for you — your AI just sees your vault.
Where does my data go?
Nowhere. Files stay on your machine. If you enable Google Drive or OneDrive sync, it runs directly between your computer and your cloud account. We never see a byte. The hosted MCP bridge on Pro/Team only relays tool calls — your file contents are loaded from your local vault, never copied to our servers.
How is Pro different from Team?
Pro is single-user, multi-vault. Team is multi-user with one or many shared vaults plus the governance stack — SSO, audit, retention, approval workflows, role-based access. If you have employees touching the vault, you want Team.

Windows today. macOS within 60 days. Linux ships when the demand shows up.
What if Hibb Co. LLC shuts down?
Your vault keeps working. Plain markdown plus real files, on your disk. No proprietary format. No cloud dependency. Even Pro/Team subscriptions degrade gracefully — your data stays accessible.
